Earliest GPO van under restoration.

This is a long term restoration we have been working on for a period of time. It was a stage payment job which is nearing completion. It has been a full restoration, most panels have been replaced or repaired as the owner wanted to keep as much of the original van as was possible.

We are in the last stages of a full re-spray inside and out in the correct early GPO red.

This is the Oldest GPO Minor van, it has the 30th postal cab made, (these have differences to civilian cabs). Its the 2066th lcv cab...

Earliest known GPO Minor Van.

MTR RESTORATION is based in the small village of Chagford on the northern edge of Dartmoor but just 5 miles from the main A30. All aspects of restoration is carried out on mainly Morris Minors but work is and has been carried out on other BMC vehicle including Morris J Type vans, Riley 1.5 and similar vehicles.
