BCF 713C,replace engine and convert front brakes.

A rare un-restored 1965 pick-up. In a good "work a day " condition. Now showing its age the very tired engine needs replacement.

A low mileage engine was purchased,  freshly painted the job was carried out in less than a day.
Another job the customer wanted us to do was convert it from front drum brakes to front disc's. They supplied good second hand items, all we had to do was correctly fit them with all new brake pipes which we made up.

Lots of nice new parts, makes the rest of the engine compartment seem shabby, the customer/owner is going to do a certain amount of cleaning themselves.

Original front drum set-up.

Brake drum and shoes removed and replacement disc and caliper fitted.

These are good second hand items. All pipe work will be new.

Remote brake fluid reservoir fitted to off-side inner wing.

You need one of these as the brake master cylinder is under the floor beneath the drivers feet.
