101 J type step-wing-door runner repairs.

Hand made step and support plates.
All welded up!
Front wings had been weld directly to the body work. New arch constructed with captive nuts welded into correct location.
Checking door Fit.

Looking good.

New hand made sill and step being correctly located before welding.

The curved lower door runner being constructed.
Yet more checking.

Welded and correctly bolted up.

The off side needs the same treatment, wing had been welded in place.
Area cleaned up to show the many patches to the body work and the wing welded in place.

The off side wing cut away and needs new metal letting in.


Wing removed showing just how much repair work is needed.



Whats left of the cab body work lip/inner wing mount.

New metal being let in to the wing.

Top section, mounting holes have been drilled so the wing can be bolted back into place, the correct way they should be mounted.
